Anyway, this article is on the darker side of things. I wanted to address the "fakes" and "troll comments" circulating on the web.
1) Fake charities.
This is the most important. Please make sure you're donating to the right organization. As sad as it sounds, whenever there is a natural disaster, charity scams always come along with it. There are a number of resources you can use to counter this problem, such as Charity Navigator (note this is an American site, but I'm pretty sure you can dig up similar sites for your region).
2) Fake Stats/photos/"facts"
